Rule 48

Recording in the register (Court of First Instance, revocation action)

1. Rule 17.1(a) to (c) and ..2 shall apply mutatis mutandis.

2. The President of the Court of First Instance shall assign the action

   • (a) to a panel of the central division,
     (b) where the parties have agreed that a single judge should hear the action, to a single judge or
     (c) where the parties have agreed to bring the action before a local division or a regional division in accordance with Article 33(7) of the Agreement, to a panel of the local or regional division concerned.

Relation with Agreement: Articles 10 and 33

Rule 18 on Designation of judge-rapporteur shall apply Rules 19, 20 and 21 on Procedure when the defendant raises a Preliminary objection shall apply mutatis mutandis
